Welcome to AMS Library!
My name is Mr. Davis, Library Media Specialist at Antonia Middle School, and I am the creator of this website. The purpose of this website is to act as an online extension of the physical library media center at my school. The website will be a reference center for students, teachers, and parents. The main goal of the website is to equip all library patrons in my school with the knowledge they need to utilize the library and its resources to its fullest potential. By visiting my website, library patrons will become more connected to the library and all it has to offer.
This website provides students, teachers, and parents information on a variety of topics, which include:
- Connecting personal devices to the school WiFi
- Accessing the online library catalog
- Learning about the new library Makerspace
- Keeping up with the latest news in the library
Standards for the 21st-Century Learner
The American Association of School Librarians, or AASL, has created a new set of Standards for the 21st-Century Learner as a guide for how to best serve and teach students in the library. Click here to view the standards in PDF format.
